Hello,
I just installed ubuntu on our Schools 22 Computers and checking the feedback's... And Pretty Cool they always ask me why ubuntu in an animation machine? and I showed them blender and Gimp for animation and a big shock on them hehehehehe.... I'ma full user now cause got problems with windows and I'm starting to hate a w brand...

Hi. You could show them Elephant's Dream (http://www.elephantsdream.org/) (if you haven't already) so they can get a taste of what can be accomplished using Open Source software.

And congratulations on getting all those 22 computers to run on Ubuntu! :KS

I am interested in the Animation packages, I was looking at website for Blender. I need them for my grown-up kids.

Are there any specific hardware requirements (I checked but am not so sure about the Graphic card part) ?

How do you install Blender? And how do you compare it with GIMP ? Since you have put them on 22 computers, you must be pretty sure of what you are doing.
