Well, I read this in the manpage of stty and couldn't help grinning.

Actually I have noticed other little geek type jokes inserted into other man pages, I guess they get bored writing them and want to see if anyone notices.

Yep. I have come across some others as well. But this one made me grin when I was wondering about the solution for a question (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=525365) on the forums. Further down that same manpage, there is the meaning of raw. No points for guessing what it is!!!

Actually, the man page says -cooked is same as raw (notice the minus sign which apparently stands for negation), presumable to be read as 'not cooked'.

Still pretty funny, though
