This works, I guess. I do like Opera, but I don't have it installed right now.

Not if you're not using KDE, it's not. Besides, it's good to have a text-only browser handy for those times you can't use the GUI (that's what I do on my nine-year-old laptop, though I use FreeBSD not GNU/Linux).

using same .mozilla folder with 2 profiles. :)
firefox -P 1

Firefox for general use, Links2 for mouse-less/X-less use.
eLinks is also nice, it supports tabs.
