Instant Messaging

Hello to all,

I just wanted to feel out the use of IM for our little group here. I have all of my IM accounts listed in my info, so anytime anyone wants to shoot the breeze, I am usually available.

If you don't really want to be bothered with IMs, I guess you could reply here and I will not add you to my lists.

I use gmail and googletalk for just about everything. That's the easiest way to contact me. I also log into yahoo, aim and ICQ. Next to Gtalk it would be ICQ where most get in touch with me.
I used skype until Feisty came out. After that no matter how hard I try I can't get the mic to work. I finally gave up because I was spending too much time trying to get it fixed.

Googletalk, ICQ (mostly), MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger...that's about it for me.

Update:

Just downloaded the latest version of Pidgin (used to be Gaim) so I could consolidate all my IM client's in one app. So far it works great in *******. Now all I need to do is to figure out how to install it in Ubuntu! ;)
