This man needs your help

Some of you may or may not know, but Pat Volkerding, Creater and Maintaner, of one of the oldest surviving linux distros out there, is sick. He message can be found @ http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackware-current/PAT-NEEDS-YOUR-HELP.txt. Know I know that he is the maintainer of another distro, but in spirte of Ubuntu (Humanity towards others), we have to help him. I repeat, THIS MAN NEEDS THE HELP FROM THE UBUNTU COMMUNITY AND THE REST OF THE OPEN SOURCE COMMUNITY.
