What is the difference between Mythbuntu and Linuxmce?

I plan to build a computer which acts as a VCR and DVD player which is connected to my tv. Which one would suit me best?

I think the main difference is that Mythbuntu has a very bare desktop with XFCE and a minimal amount of desktop applications. For instance, it has Firefox, but lacks other internet applications such as email and instant messengers. LinuxMCE, on the other hand, has a full kubuntu-desktop and is just built on top of that.

However, there are lots and lots of other differences.

If you only want to play DVDs and watch and record TV, then maybe Mythbuntu is "enough".

Here are a few useful links:

If somebody wishes to point out other differences, please do. (And correct me, if I am wrong about something.)
