Novell, it turns out, own ALL UNIX and UnixWare copyrights, and now have the right to waive.

That just leaves The Nazgul (IBM Legal) to feast on the bones of SCO.

Was very happy to pick that up off of LXer a few minutes ago.

The only bad thing is, the sco execs/board/major shareholders already made their millions off of the front end of their (il)legal actions. They used it for a nice pump & dump way back when this all started and their stock soared on the announcement of their lawsuit(s). X-(

May they always have one grain of sand in their socks.

Least we are done with that sore issue. SCO wasted enough time of people and hopefully the community never finds itself in another wasteful issue like that.

I posted this a couple of days ago.

SCO will have to pay Novell the royalties it recieved.

Is it my lousy finance data interpretation or did 67% of their share price get wiped off the boards overnight?

Hmm... after been reading up about this SCO controversy by following a link in a ZDNet or Tech Republic article, then I come to know more about what is happening. I researched on the Google and read up a lot on various links, as well as Linux Online for the SCO Controversy Timeline.

I don't know how true it is for the funding of M$ behind this controversy but for sure my supports for Linux communities, the various distros, and IBM, etc are getting stronger and I would prefer to join in to detest M$ (SCO of course is one of them too, I would group it under M$ despite that there's still not enough evidence to show that they are linked, but I do believed that they are somehow linked, no one can be pretty sure of that though).

Kudos to IBM. Novell and Linux communities, and all those supporting Linux! I really hope to see one day that Linux will at least share 50% of the OS market share from M$ and be more robust and better than M$, so as to deter people from getting *******!

I really hope to see what will be the next thing going to take place soon and how's the ending for SCO controversy! Toasted yes, but I think that's not enough! XD
