Is this a joke? Or am I doing something wrong? I uninstalled OOo 2.2 to install Novell's OOo 2.1 so I could use the OpenXML translator that supposedly allows your to create, open, and edit docx files with OOo Writer. I install the package, and it is not allowing me to open or edit docx files. What gives???

Permissions on the files? If in doubt set to 777 if you're not sure.

I'm also curious about how to install Novell OOo? It seems somewhat faster, and I like the launcher. I would also like to have docx support...

as far as I know that feature is Suse exclusive, so that they can have control over the linux market and run it over our heads like the sword of Damocles

QFT, I won't use Novell products after all they've done so far
Also, I keep getting logged out of forums, anyone else have problems?
