So, my amazing mp3 (among others) player (Samsung YP-MT6X) is finally beginning to die after 2 years of constant use.

i looked at many different players . Creative Zen V Plus, and iriver clix gen 2 came out on top. then i tried the Zen V Plus, and now i want the clix. really, i just wanted one that would last. ipods never last long, so they are out of he question.

heres the problem: i cant find where to buy the clix. i just want the second gen 4gb model. amazon, and the iriver store have it, but nowhere else. i would prefer best buy or circuit city because then i can get an extended warranty.

iRiver ONLY sells direct to the consumer for this model, or so said the person at iRiver America, when I called them.

Looks like a pretty sweet device and I think I'm leaning towards getting one in the next few days. They're even running a discount between now and the end of the year.

If you follow the link and read the article, it mentions a rebate that is available DIRECTLY from the iRiver store.
