I actually think the guy is right, it would be better if the orders changed, it is specially clear on the firefox "restore session?" dialog.

Although I don't really agree on it being such an important issue, I also think the guy overreacted to the reply from gnome.

When I switched from windows I honestly didn't notice - the only thing I thought about the buttons was that they were plesently rounded in comparision to windows buttons - I do agree that there is probably a case for consistancy between applications though.

I don't really care. I don't think the order of the buttons matters.

I agree with the reason, changing something common to something odd just to support a flawed assumption about something is just stupid.

However I don't find a big different in using windows and then going to gnome, I just tend to read the boxes very quickly and notice the difference.

{No | Yes} seems more natural to me...

Here in Canada we read from left to right, so naturally, I want Yes | No, since it's more likely that I'll be pressing Yes.
