Southern Connecticut Open Source User Group

www.scosug.org is having its annual picnic! please help make this the best one ever! if possible, bring food/drinks/frisbee/football/laptop. any questions can be asked in the forums at scosug.org. hope to see you there!

it will be held at:
Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden, CT on Saturday, August 25th at 1:00

btw, i just joined the CT loco team. ive been looking for a group in CT. i look forward to participating in any way i can.

Re parking: you can also park on the side of the road for free, and possibly walk a little (many cars use this option, so there might be *a lot* of cars )

How we will find in which are is the group? Some signs will be posted?

Maybe (someone needs to check with park administration) we can post a flyer on the park map area, with note that "any walk-in interested in Linux/open source is welcome" and we may get some random visitors to check us.

We will need more than couple notebooks for whole afternoon - or maybe we can arrange power from ranger station/WC and couple of extension cords to recharge notebooks.

I did not found any link at http://www.scosug.org/events/ - where we want to discuss it all? on ububtuforums, or scosug.org?
