How about Comfusion (http://pollolinux.blogia.com/) ? (I haven't tried this version but the beta (aka "Uberyl") had E17 as an alternative session to the default Gnome/Beryl one.

And does anyone know whether Elbuntu is going to be released or will it stay as a repository for Ubuntu?
