So I prefer laptops to desktops, they're just, easier.
I'm going to Uni in September to do Politics, my current laptop is a sony FE21S (http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/Laptops/Entertainment+Laptops/SONY/FE21S/776538)
Its pretty good and only a year old but to cut a long story short I have £1000 to spend on a new one.
I have no idea what to get, I just want the best value for money, and need it to work perfectly on Ubuntu. If somebody finds one thats say £1300 and much better then I can expand my budget, but I dont think I can expand it to say £1700 ;)
