Hello to the Ubuntu community!

I am a new Ubuntu user, though I heard of ubuntu for some time now. Until now I have been using openSUSE. Don't get me wrong. I am NOT a refugee. Suse is still very dear to my hearth, and I pay my respects to the developers.

So let me tell you my story. One day I said "Ah what the hell? I'll try this too." And installed Ubuntu Feisty. After my first install I had problems. My impression was: Ubuntu is not for linux newbies. I've been using linux for a year now, and that helped me fix my problems so far. I like this OS. It's not as easy as SUSE, maybe it's me...maybe I've "grown". I even started to use alpha software(compiz-fusion). However Ubuntu can be improved to be more user friendly.

I love the linux philosophy, though I've "broken the law" on my SUSE. I've used pirated soft. I promised myself that I won't do this on Ubuntu(I'll leave that for Windows ;) )

I hope that I will learn to this OS as much as I love SUSE.
