Has anyone managed to get code::blocks working on an amd64? I use it at work (under windows) so it would be convenient to use it at home as well, but I can't find the source anywhere to compile it, or a precompiled version for my architecture. Alternately I could use something like kdevelop, but I can't find a way to customise its default directory structure to fit in with the way I have it set up in code:blocks.

If no-one has any ideas about how to get code::blocks working then any suggestions on a fairly simple (and easily customisable) alternative? I've looked at geany, but it seems a little too simple!

I use codeblocks on AMD64, Xaviou from codeblocks forum makes a deb file. The link to the deb file is here: http://www.esnips.com/web/CodeBlocks and if you don't have wx2.8.4 ( required by the new codeblocks build ) there is a how-to to install it here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=469671&highlight=codeblocks

Thanks - that's exactly what I was looking for! Installed it without any problems.
