Hi all, while I am new to Ubuntu, I have grown to like this OS quite a bit. However, it was the forum support that kept me with it to be honest and quite honestly, "especially for open source" this forum whips other forums' butts. They are friendly, helpful and stick through it with you. Also, you don't get treated like an idiot which is the biggest plus. While I couldn't post this in the other section "help section" I am posting this now....

I would like to applaud the forum here and all who help!=D>=D>=D>

This is the best forum for help i've encountered...

Anyone who feels the same, please post here!

Cheers,
Paul

I also applaud. I have been using linux for almost 2 years and I enjoy helping others with the easier stuff that I struggled through. It's even more great that I can come here and get help with the more advanced stuff also.

+1

This forum definitely represents the best aspect of probably the most important part of open source--the community. I've been using Ubuntu since May and would have never stuck with it past my first set of glitches without a resource like this.

I'd also like to thank everyone. My previous tries into Linux were failures. So with Wubi and the community I've eventually launched myself firmly into Ubuntu. Now, even though I no longer use Wubi I still need help from the community at times and it's nice to get an answer or track down a solution from here.

And it also makes me happy when I can help out other people who are in the same boat. :)
