Ubuntu featured in Mighty Avengers #4

Funny stuff: the last page of Mighty Avengers #4 shows a grub bootscreen of a PC in a missile base with the usual Ubuntu login possibilities, including the memtest.
Across the screen the words "Access denied" are visible.

The lines uttered by the horrified employees of the missile base (all the time staring at the same grub screen):

"What is that?"
"Someone's hacked into the system."
"Someone's looking for the launch codes."
"Oh my god!"

All of this proves that...

The US army uses Ubuntu in their missile bases! Woot!

Damn you beat me to it. I just finished the issue, i saw that panel right before the blow up and it said memtest86+ and went "wait a minute." I looked at the ones before it where you can see the full grub screen and laughed. Anyone know if this was product placement or Bendis or Cho (writer or illustrator) making a plug? Either ways its freaking great.

I agree.....sometimes on TV shows and movies one can tell that the so-called "expert" (or more likely the script writer) doesn't really know any better either. The same could be said of some of my contributions to various threads.......

Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.10-5-k7 or
Ubertz, kernel 2.6.10-5-k7 You be the judge.
