US Teams Project: Request for Leaders.
19 to be exact....

This has been a very exciting year for LoCo teams in the US. There have been many new teams created, and a lot of State LoCo's get approved.

In an effort to accomplish our goal of having a LoCo team in every state by the end of the year, I am going to put the list of States who have no LoCo team at present:

Alaska (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Delaware (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Hawaii (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Idaho (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Iowa (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Louisiana (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Michigan (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Minnesota (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Mississippi (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Nevada (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), New Hampshire (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), North Carolina (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Rhode Island (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), South Dakota (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Texas (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Vermont (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), West Virginia (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Wisconsin (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3), Wyoming (http://www.ubuntu-us.org/node/3)

If you are interested, please stop by #ubuntu-us on freenode, or contact us via our mailing list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-us). There is someone on the channel who can help you get started setting up your team and the resources you will need for your team.

Starting a LoCo team is not easy, but it is fun and very rewarding. It's also a great way to help contribute to the Ubuntu Community.

See you at OLF! (http://www.ohiolinux.org/)
