Phone to sync with Linux?

Hey there,

I am looking for a phone running an OS that is compatitble with Linux, however I have a few needs that I need the phone to do, any ideas?

1. Use the phone as a Modem with Fiesty.
2. Preferably a T-Mobile (GSM) or Verizon Wireless (CDMA) phone.
3. Able to Sync Microsoft documents, except for PowerPoint. (Optional)
4. Obviously able to use the phone with an Internet connection through wireless provider.
