Try searching for "microsoft rigs live search traffic" on google.com (http://www.google.com) and live.com (http://search.live.com/) respectively. How come google reports hits from big sites like theregister and yahoo among the first hits, while live doesn't. ;)

I think it's probably just an inferior algorithm.

I don't really like to bash Microsoft. They make a good OS for most people. Just not for me. I do find this kind of funny though.

Sort of yahoo answers and chacha.com put together. They really need to get some more creative people on board.

+1 on that, Windows is a good OS and MS makes some good stuff. *nix is just easier to understand and seems more interesting to me.

I tend to agree more with Linus on this topic...

Ok, maybe live.com doesn't understand quotes, but still, it's funny how the first three hits are to an (probably) M$-owned page. (please do correct me if I'm wrong, it's not like we need to spread lies for promoting the truth (that linux and freedom and whatnot is better than monopoly and stuff)).

edit: I take it back. Live.com probably does understand quotes (since the hits lower on the page show the string in question), but it doesn't (up front at least) link to the news stories on the big sites, which is what people would like to find if they searched for the above mentioned.
