Hey all,

i want to install Suse in Virtualbox on a Windows XP workstation.

i have the needed 3 iso images and Deamon Tools.

How do i continue the setup when i need to switch disks because Virtualbox tries to boot once the CD1 setup is done?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

~Guus

Try Suse 10.3 Alpha5... if you are only testing anyway it should be fine for you. I've used it for a bit and it is decently stable. 10.3 has a singleCD installer. I really would recommend using the DVD though if you can. If you are using virtual box I think you can mount it and not even have to burn the image to a blank DVD.

It isn't the ideal, you are correct. I really don't know much about Virtual Box... I would see if they have a wiki or forums and try looking for an answer there... you will probably have the best luck finding what you need there. Sorry I couldn't be of much more help.

When you need to insert another CD just go up to the Devices menu in the VM window and unmount the current CD. Then in the same menu remount another CD. I've done this with no problems.
