Well, I'm getting a new mobile phone - and what do you do when you have a spare electronic device lying around (its not in good enough condition to give it to oxfam!) - Install Linux on it! - Given that Linux has been installed on everything to ipods and watches, does anyone know where I could find some information on how to install it on my mobile - don't ask, I'm bored and in desperate need of something to do - I figured i could turn it into a portable document viewer or use it for something useful or just have fun tickering - My phone is a motorola v3 razr - it connects via mini usb, so that no problem - any advice?

well, there is a version of ubuntu under development with intel for use on a mobile. you can also look into the openmoko project which is opensource from the hardware up.
