I already posted this thread in programmnig for programmers feedback, I am posting it here to get user feeback...

"A Day without X"
Have you checked out that blog?

If you love command line and curses based applications you would like this...
If you dont like command line be sure to give this a try, it will present to you some powerful command line applications that you may require for everyday tasks, such as music, email, chatting, browsing etc.

Very easy to install, very small file only about 10KB, but i guess it also makes using command line easier...
It gives an easy interface to launch apps and manage menu...
Plus it also gives you a process manager...

So install and try it out...
Tell me how it makes you feel about doing the command line

For best effects ;)
open
$ vi ~/.bashrc
and add ScreenFace to the end

ScreenFace is S-capital and F-Capital...
and is derived from
Screen from GNU Screen
Face from Interface

I hope you like the software as much as I did :)
Please give me your Feedback...

xavier_r,

Nice. I like the interface, and installation was easy. ScreenFace allows quick access to alot of commonly used programs. Also the applications that were installed are great and realy useful. (htop is cool :).

I just had a few question regarding the interface. Do you know if it can be customized in regards to adding color? Also I use large console fonts and part of the menu at the bottom is not visible, can I specify a the number of rows and coloumns to use? (For example 40x12 instead of 80x25)

Thanks,
Joann

Hey joann thanks for trying it out...
Customization has not been added yet, with regards to color or terminal size...
But terminal size byg-fix will be available soon as i am working on it...
Anyways, this version of screenface is old..
Use the latest version(currently 1.3) from here...
http://screenface.66ghz.com/
It contains many bug-fixes and new features as well... :)
