Hey guys. I'm planning to buy a desktop pc sometimes soon and want to check few things before a say goodbye to my cash.

I wanna buy a custom build pc (as I'm not very good with hardware) from some semi decent company in UK. My budget is upto £600 and thats including everything (19"screen, keyboard etc), as I only had laptops upto now.

I'm not a gamer and this PC will only gonna be used for normal home stuff plus quite a bit of Photoshop editing and maybe some video converting. So I don't really need top specs I just wanna buy the the best for the money rather then paying the same for less in PC World or Dell.

So far I think the most I can get for my money is from www.DinoPC.com (http://www.DinoPC.com) (link to pc) (http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=28&idproduct=133) who are not far from where I live and I heard some good things about them:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
CPU Cooler: Standard CPU heatsink & fan
Motherboard: ECS 965T-A
Memory: 2.0GB Kingston DDR2 667mhz (2x 1GB)
Hard Drive: 80GB S-ATA2 3.0Gb/s
Second hard drive: 400GB S-ATA2 3.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 18x Double-Layer DVD+/-RW
Graphics card: NVidia GeForce 8600GT 256MB
Sound card: Creative Audigy Soundblaster SE 7.1
Peripherals: Keyboard, mouse and speakers
Monitor: 19'' TFT Monitor
PSU: 400W PSU
Case: Colors-IT 8050
Warranty: Bronze Warranty
Total: £576.23

I would prefer 7 series graphix card but they don't have much to choose from. I think the 8600gt is now supported with the new nvidia driver but have no idea how well it works. I'll have to dualboot so there will be XP and ubuntu on it.

Do you know about any other decent place in UK that could build me something similar, is there anything I should change, is the motherboard okish?
Any input appreciated.

Well, looks like thats what I'll buy. This is what they say about the mobo. Doest it look ok?
Also, I think I'll throw out the soundcard. I think I'll be ok with the on-board sound..
