This is just EOG, Nautilus, Gnome app for screen resolution with a different name. Pure GNOME using Bluecurve with ugly name changes.

IMO ? What's next ..

Tried it. Took several days of tech support (http://www.syllable.org/discussion.php?id=837) on the forum (http://www.syllable.org/forum.php) to even get the live CD to boot for me. It's still in the very early beta stages, but if it works for you, give it a shot I guess. It has a surprisingly good graphical interface and shell, and the graphics server (whatever it is) handles my monitor better than Windows does. Just tell it the res and refresh rate you want, and if your monitor can handle it, it's done. :)

I burned the Live ISO to a cd-rw and ran it it seemed pretty cool but still in early stages. as said above it likes my monitor better than windows and it recognized all my hardware. nice little project for down the road. :-P
