Hi all,
I just started using folding at home and was wondering, what is the average speed? So if you all could post your CPU speed, version of Client, Time per Frame, Time Per Work Unit, and Size of Work Unit. Also post any comments you'd like or think might be useful/interesting/important.
I'll start off.
CPU Speed: 2.2 Ghz Dual Core
Client Version: 5.03 Windows 5.04 Beta Linux
Time per Frame: 27 seconds
Time per Work Unit: 1 day 13 hours
Size of Work Unit: 5000 frames
I have a dual core processor, but run both 32 Bit Windows and Kubuntu. I'm probably reading the linux client wrong but the Windows one seems faster (When it says 28% in the Linux Console is that 28% of a Frame or Work Unit?). I also use the Windows client because I like the graphic view and the screensaver.
