Depends on how big the hot dogs are. I could probably eat 66 miniature hot dogs if I forced myself but I wont.

I've never understood food eating competitions. They don't qualify as a sport, eating my dinner isn't one either. I guess it's just one of life's mysteries that I won't understand.

I can eat 3-4 if I am really hungry, but 2 usually do me in.

I saw the winner on ESPN News. I cringed when I heard he ate 66 hot dogs. It makes me have stomach cramps just thinking of that. :-|

I once saw a piece of art where a shop that sells hotdogs was depicted. Also shown in the menu was "cold cat" but you had to look for it - a joke by the artist.....

Gotta love a bit of competitive eating! - The thing thats most impressive is that it only took him 12 minutes to eat all those hot dogs! - Thats one every 10 -ish seconds!

I don;t know about hot dogs but I once ate 2 whole chickens with chips and ice cream to follow - and I only weigh 11.5 stone! (6' 0")

I lived in Japan for a couple of years and competitive eating is quite popular there. You name it, they'll put a contest behind it: sushi, rice, ramen, etc.
