Well I just ordered ubuntu (I couldn't download it being on dialup). I cannot wait to try it! Though I have heard from some people that it might be a long wait, as the company which ships them out is in the Isle of Man (and I in Texas). I might have to find someone who either has it already to mail me a copy or wait a month until I am back on campus and can download the .iso.
My Linux experience is pretty nominal. I started using Mandrake a year ago when I started my semester at UT, but eventually stopped using it due to lack of support from the LUG. This should be refreshing, though.
I tell you, the anticipation is almost too much to bare.
