My neighbours are stealing my wireless internet access. I could encrypt it or alternately I could have fun.
Split the network

I'm starting here by splitting the network into two parts, the trusted half and the untrusted half. The trusted half has one netblock, the untrusted a different netblock. We use the DHCP server to identify mac addresses to give out the relevant addresses.

That's funny:D Looks a little complicated though. There should be a Firefox extension for that.

Interesting.......I went the WEP way combined with only allowing my laptop and my neighbour's laptop access through the wireless router, with a minimal amount of blocking of "naughty" sites.

On my wireless router I can quite easily filter mac addresses, but this is quite a few magnitudes more creative, Now if one could only access their webcam(s) to see their reaction:D...

I attempted this a while back... you either need a router which will let you program stuff like this (open firmware on a linksys?) or you need a computer with 2 nics in it acting as your router, with the wireless router plugged into that...

If there's a third method that I'm somehow missing, please post a link to a how-to or something...
