Dear ppl,
Please help me in compiling Synaptic with support for socks proxy. The synaptic available for fedora supports transparent socksification using scripts like tsocks, runsocks, socksify (dante), but the ubuntu one does not by default. So, I want to recompile it from source, as I am forced to go through a socks proxy to get updates. Any help will be most welcome.
