View Full Version : Alleyoop + Xdebug?

I'm using XDebug (http://xdebug.org (http://xdebug.org/)), a debugging extension for PHP, and it's profile feature outputs results in the form of a cachegrind compatible file. In the XDebug website Derick (Rethans, the author of the extension) recommends the use of kcachegrind as the software to view the cachegrind files.

Problem is I use Ubuntu - and therefore Gnome - so I'd like to avoid installing a bunch of KDE libs. I've googled about this and found out that people use Alleyoop as an alternative to open this kind of files, but when I open one of them in my Alleyoop nothing happens (the Alleyoop interface remains blank, as if I didn't opened anything).

Can anyone give me some advice on this subject? Any ideas of what's happening?

TIA,
