hmm. I hope at least due to their linux powered pc's, they release some decent drivers for their epson printers!

Interesting, especially for a company not known for making PCs.

For those of us who have been using PCs for a few years, like most IT manufacturers at the time, Epson did do a range of PCs (8086 and 286) in the mid to late 80's in the UK.

I for one welcome our... err applaud the fact more and more vendors are trying to sell Linux PCs.

Epson sounds lucky in this decision btw, think about it, they don't sell other PCs thus they have got no obscure deals with MS like *cough* other vendors, and they are printer vendors thus able to give their Linux version some driver advantage...

Epson used to make computers here in the states as well. Mid 90's I believe. They were never very big.

But back to the topic at hand... why in the name of all that is holy did they choose TurboLinux? I thought it was dead like 10 years ago!
