Crystal is one of my favorite icon sets. It's so ahead of the times.

So far the only thing I'm not fond of is the vertical folders. Reminds me too much of Vista and Leopard.

that pack didn't have the resized icons though. Only 128 x 128 for everything except actions which he had 16x16 for.
Nothing a
mogrify -resize 22x22! *.png
can't take care of.
I had a look and liked these. I have been using nuevoxt for a long time and thought I might try a change but from the kde-look page it says I have to build the icons? Why do some of the people posting icon sets there leave them so you have to build them yourself? Th nuevo and several thers I have downloaded were just a tar file that I could install easily through system settings.

for the love of god i can't figure out how to get that installed properly in a way taht would take less than 2 hours.
It won't work under KDE3 any more as KDE4 uses a different icon naming spec (the fd.o one).
I use a snapshot taken from a while back - February maybe - under KDE3. It's incomplete and no longer up-to-date, but it's my favourite icon theme, now: I've never been a huge fan of Crystal, to be honest.

Likewise, I prefer Oxygen.

It's actually very simple. Didn't take me 2 hours at all... probably 20 minutes at most (it was a few months ago I did it). Here's a tutorial: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=407669
