I have been working on this site for the last 4 hours. All the graphics and layout was made 100% by me using plain text editor. I am quite proud of the details and looks of it by far, soon I am gonna add more tables and make them transparent for more eyecandy.
I have no other pages up yet but the index is up for looks. Thanks to ubuntu for making a site so easy to work with and make and manage. Please check it out.

thats very nice dude,

my only suggestion would be to "indent" the text slightly in the main black box so its not right at the edge. i think the "border" or "margin" function takes care of that. and maybe seperate the right hand menu slightly from the main text body on the left

1: I tried making the border 2px, and make the border color black so it matches the tables.
2: Also used the css indent way. any it just indent one line.
3: And the div indent style did the same thing as 2.

I agree with the thing needing to be indented, now it's bugging the **** out of me.

Your art is awesome. I love the look and feel of the design. You are on your way to one great website. If you do not mind, I have one work on for you: the text is too small. Be bold with your text! Let the people read what you have to say. Which leads me to your second work on, when creating a sample site I find it is good to have sample text. Your links did not seem to go anywhere. I know they were different pages, but there was nothing different about them. It looked like you just threw the same page up to get it done. That made me not want to stay and look around at your beautiful site. It is okay to not have it done, it is also okay to give more of any idea of what it will be like when done.

try adding something like

padding-left:15px;
padding-right:5px;

to your css file for the main text body and see what happens to the text

The other pages aren't finished. And I will fix the font problems with the css source. Also, for the other pages, they aren't done. Reason why it pops up the news page over again becaue I use a php navigation system that I coded for myself. The site is one page, even if I have 100+ different other pages. It just include stored my content from the different catagories on the right panel. Which is very useful and great if I ever wanna change my layout. =)

I am currently working on making a php news script and also a guessbook/chatbox. God bless php. =p

The cellpadding = fixed
Bigger fonts = fixed

Okay, I am 100% finished with the layout. Time to start making the content and tutorials/articles! Thanks everyone for your compliments, they help alot. :)

I used photoshop cs2 on my other windows box. I've been using PS for about 5 years, and I am a member of several graphics teams through out the net.

and there is nothign wrong with going off topic. ;)

The graphics and layout are nice.

The thing that makes a website good is having a purpose, and good content. Maybe that's coming later, though. If I don't have a reason to look at a website, I won't go to it.

Looks very nice! Please stop by the CSS Forums (http://www.cssforums.org/forum/) if you ever have any questions about your stylesheets, or even HTML, etc. It's shaping up to be a very solid resource.
