I was reading a blog at http://flagrantdisregard.com/index.php/2007/03/20/buntu-linux-its-full-of-stars/ talking about LightZone (http://www.lightcrafts.com/products/), which is free for linux users: http://www-old.lightcrafts.com/linux/

Nice app :) Just wanted to share what I found...

1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)

Holy cow... is it really that much of a system hog?

And even worse:

Note: LightZone for Linux is not officially supported by Light Crafts!

Come on, no support for Linux, darn it! :-(

It looks ok, I suppose! So, another one option for image editing added to our list.

But, this is bad

And then there's the fact that Windows users have to pay for it and we get it for free. It's resource intensive because it's java based and it deals with heavy photo editing. No surprises there.
