After reading some of the Threads about Browser here, I discovered Epiphany. It has everything what I looked for. Its uses GTK instead of the native Firefox XUL engine, its fast, not to heavy on ressources and just feels quicker and less sluggish.

Theres even a nice adblock extension for it. So everything is perfect except I miss something handy like the NoScript extension where I can quickly allow Javascript or forbid it. Call me paranoid but when I look at all the different scripts that are included in the average its quite frigthenin to see. And I don't want to have my moves tracked by Google trhough half the web. So Im looking for something to get that handy NoScript system also in Epiphany. If I could code Python I would try myself to get something like that going. But I can't and I don't even know how the Epiphany plugin integration works.

Hm, I'd like that too.

So please tell if you have an answer.

This thread is almost a year old, and the project does not look alive. Closing, sorry.
