The computer industry if full of acronyms, some are easily understood, some less so.

There are technical acronyms like "IRQ", slightly less technical like "JBOD", and downright condescending like "RTFM".

Of course, the real fun comes when you find alternate phrases for acronyms, or acronyms with hidden meaning, so this thread is a thread of humorous or otherwise interesting alterations on acronyms. (Keep it clean, the letter "f" stands for more than one word in these cases)

Please give the real meaning, if any in parentheses.

I'll start with two of my favourites:

PCMCIA = "People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms"
(Personal Computer Memory Card International Association)

PICNIC = "Problem In Chair, Not In Computer"
