Here's an interesting story (http://www.toptechnews.com/news/Ubuntu-Shuns-Microsoft-Patent-Talks/story.xhtml?story_id=112006L6TPA8) that I just read! There is some quotes from Shutteworth which clearly show that he doesn't believe patent talks with Microsoft are in Ubuntu's best interest, or any other open source organization's best interest for that matter!
