I downloaded .jar file. How do I install it? :s

tried this program awhile ago, they have a lot of hi-def trailers, but if my memory serves me right its windows only.

Andrewie is partially right here. You somehow compiled the .jar file and got it working, but the official site says that Vuze is for Windows and Mac. When Linux users click the download button on the official site, they are given the Linux file for Azureus 2.5.0.4, and they say they are working on a linux version for vuze.

perhaps, just maybe you need jre (java runtime environment) to compile.
