For all that don't know this movie, Well all that i can say it was an open source movie, produced with Open Source software (mainly Blender), for The Open Source Enthusiasts ;)

I watched it last year I believe, it is quite short isn't it? Like a video clip? It looked nicely made but was too short to be of real interest.

It was interesting to me as a demonstration of technology, but it wasn't good enough that I would care to see it more than the one time.

I use it for demonstrations when setting up hi-def home theaters. I've watched it several times and I have yet to figure it out. It's a cross between "Waiting for Godot" and "The Matrix".

Of course, Godot never comes . . . .

I loved it, it was short, though, but I consider it more a demonstration of what open-source technology can do.

The same folks are putting together another short created with Blender and other open-source apps, and they also plan to put together a game. On top of that, a Central American animation company is creating a full-length 3D animated movie using Blender. Should be neat to see.

I like it. It runs smoothly only under VLC and you need a good hardware if you want smoth HD version on high resolution. :p

also, some Argentinian company is making a commercial CGI animated movie using blender, its called "plumiferos" or something.
