Good eFax Service?

I don't have a fax machine and am going to be requesting a document that could be quickly faxed to me.

Are there any free fax to email services you know of? Or if there aren't any free one's does anyone have experiences with a trustworthy pay-per-fax service? (I don't want to sign up for a month or year if I am only going to use this once).

i used freefax in the past, but a recent trip to their website (http://www.emory.com/fax/freefax.htm) seems as though they've changed a bit; i don't remember such cheesy web-authoring.
