I work with radio stations in England, mainly on the marketing side of things; really, I'm a writer. I'm not too technical, but I understand what Linux is and what it's all about, I know who RMS is and things like that! What I'd love to know is whether there's a team based around writing and producing marketing materials for Ubuntu, ideas on spreading the word etc. I've had a quick look around the forum and can't see anything leaping out at me, but I'm probably being a bit silly. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Of course! There is the Ubuntu Marketing Team doing a wonderful job writing the Weekly Newsletter, tracking the internets for articles about Linux and Ubuntu, doing interviews, and well.. the rest things that Marketing geeks do.

You can find them here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MarketingTeam

Radio has a very wide reach. More than even the Internet, I daresay (Granny doesn't really read Slashdot).

You might want to email the Marketing Team ...
