I'm not sure if this should go in the newbie thread or here.

I like learning about software through video tutorials. For the past two years I've used lynda.com to learn how to better use my design programs and learn some code. Granted they aren't degree earning educations but they help users to learn about the programs. Does anyone do any sort of tutorials like this for linux? I know it could be very helpful for people and might actually give more people the courage to try linux. I personally hate trying to read through tutorials; i like to be shown. I think it's just my graphic nature.

So do tutorials like these exist somewhere? or is there someone out there skilled and friendly enough to create these tutorials? or is there way too much within linux to be able to create worth wild tutorials?

Consider ShowMeDo. Here's a good set of tutorials covering Ubuntu, though the site covers other things as well: http://www.showmedo.com/videos/series?name=QFBn7t
