Updated to inclue US.
Changed around the coloring
Same theme.

Looks nice. If you are putting a period after the U, can you put one after the S as well? Or is the period needed at all?

Not really, that was just me playing with weather yall would like a period or not. I don't like it, but you never know :) Are the colors okay with you?

Just so that more people see it, you should send out an email to the mailing list and ask for opinions as well.

I like the colors myself.

I dunno JB you kinda need the periods. Otherwise it looks like "us" instead of "U.S."

how about lining up the words. (and include the periods...)

Here's something I scratched up in gimp using the your (ClinicalMistake) original logo:
