I've been trying to use a family history web site run by a magazine but I find it's very slow - especially to scroll down threads. I don't have the problem with any other web site - and I use a lot of sites and forums. I've put the link below - do you find a problem with it? I'm using an up-to-date Ubuntu 6.04 with Firefox.

It will be interesting to know if other people find it slow - and if so, do you know why?
Thanks!

I find it fast, just the same as any other site.

Using Ice-weasel 2.0.0.3 on Debian Etch, and Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Windows XP.

Perhaps it's slow for me because I'm using Dapper and the default Firefox 1.5.0.12. But it's really, really slow and I have no such problems with any other web site I've used.

I have a similar problem with slow websites on Feisty 7.04 using Firefox. The website is the main login page of http://blogger.com. (The part that's slow is the animation of their "Recently updated" scroll window.)

On Windows, it's fine, but in Ubuntu, it's slower than hell.

It's fine here. Don't see any slowness on Dapper with Firefox 2.0.0.4
