Just thought you guys would get a kick out of this XD;; Restarted and regained my RAM

p.s. - Does anyone know how to find out what program is using the most ram via the console? TOP at default just shows active processes, I didn't find out firefox was to blame until I opened the gui tool in the screenshot.

No big deal I have had firefox use 1.7GB of memory before.

When running top, press M (shift-m) to sort processes by memory usage, Entering P gets you back to processor usage.

Uh.... well I been using firefox all morning (7 hours) for browsing and its barely broken 100MB (108 to be more specific). I dunno what you did/how long it was open.

Anyway, I don't see the big deal, I got session restore from tab mix plus, when I feel like clearing it I just restart and restore all my tabs instantly. It isn't that big a deal... especially when weighed against everything amazing Firefox does for free (FLOSS free) while its open.

doesn't Firefox use a ton of ram to cache all the pages you visited.
