You may want to check vnc2swf (http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/). I've seen a few tutorials done this way.

vnc2swf (http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/ (http://www.unixuser.org/%7Eeuske/vnc2swf/)) is a popular choice, and it should work just fine with the Vino VNC output program included in Ubuntu.

thanx guys :D

Here is my first test movie ;)

http://xgn.com.br/fabio/index.php

the size is big for a little test movie (1MB), but my desktop is so full os colorfull things and the resolution is a bit high hehe

i ll record another one with a lower resolution.. maybe i could make some begginer ubuntu video guide

man.. this app is very usefull.. and its a piece of cake to record a swf video!

It gave me an idea... maybe we could record some ubuntu tutorial... or some "ubuntu demonstration" to show some features of ubuntu..

hehe i ve recorded a new video using a lower resolution.. take a look:

http://www.xgn.com.br/fabio/repositories.htm

a ubuntu demonstation would be cool.. but just showing random stuff isnt a good idea ](*,)

Have you heard of XVidCap? I'm looking for other Ubuntu users' experiences with it:

http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net/

It records video, and even has two videos made by the author that show how to use it!

hum.. i ll take a look...

Man.. this flash stuff r0x.. my video has 4:10 min and the file is just 3.1MB, less then 1MB/Min.. this is like a 128mp3...

i ll make a kind of "script" to a ubuntu demonstration.. showing a lot of ubuntu features and make it in a flash video
