Well it looks as though EA's coming mac games run with the help of cider, transgaming's version of cedega for the mac.

ps:I though of that title all by myself, pretty good isn't it.

Not really.


And about the games, yeah, I heard that. I suspect we'll see more of that kind of porting happening in the future, with more than just games. We're already seeing Picasa come in on a highly specialized version of WINE, etc.

Interesting, this should mean greatly enhanced functionality for EA games on cedgea as well. From what I've read the current functionality is always slightly dodgy.

the real question is, should Mac users really care? I know I dont I use windows to game and the sad fact of the matter is EA's games generally are buggy and crashy, now I can play C&C3 on OS 10 and get a kernel panic every 45 mins, where as on vista its every 30mins of gaming between bsods.
