June 13th, 2007, 07:23 PM

June 13th, 2007, 07:24 PM
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was . . .

June 13th, 2007, 08:23 PM
And they'll continue singing it forever just becauseó

June 13th, 2007, 08:26 PM
...we all live in ubuntu submarine

June 13th, 2007, 08:28 PM
...we all live in ubuntu submarine

When i get older losing my hair,
Many years from now.
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine.

"Will you still boot me, will you still "root" me,
when I'm sixty-four"

blah blah blah
June 16th, 2007, 02:34 AM
The problem with this song is that it always ends.

June 16th, 2007, 02:48 AM
Does it matter. The other song kaboomed.

As we go on
We remember
All the times we've
Had together

(Talking to the previous distro, I mean)

June 16th, 2007, 10:55 PM

Hey Jude,
Don't be afraid..
Take an Ubuntu CD, and make your life better...
Remember to throw the Windows one out...
Then you can start.... to make it better... :D

(Well yeah, it rhymes like cr*p but I don't have lots of talent.. Anyway I'm surprised mani(a)cmusician hasn't posted here yet )

June 17th, 2007, 05:20 PM
Coincidentally, that song just happens to be playing right now! :p

Ubuntu's good to me, you know, I'm happy as can be, you know, I said so. I'm not using windows and I feel fine. :)

SCAR: Sing me something, Zazu

ZAZU: It's a small world after all...

SCAR (interuppting): No! No, anything but that!

ZAZU: I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, diddly diddly...

Ubuntu Fields Forever

June 17th, 2007, 11:29 PM
There must be disks, spinning faster, somewhere
Got to be files, not corrupted, in a PC, less new
If I can dream of a better comp.
Where all my tasks just run hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true...

Oh, yeah, it did - Ubuntu! :p

June 17th, 2007, 11:50 PM
So... so you think you can tell... Windows from Ubuntu?
Beryl from Vista? Can you tell a Linux Kernel... from a cooold Windows one?
Do you think you can tell... Did they get you to trade your freedom for DRM? Safety for spyware? Open source for proprietary cr*p? And did you exchange... a great desktop experience for a buggy cra*py OS?

How I wish... how I wish we were here... you're just a confused Windows user... year after year, running over the same old ground... What have you found? The same old crashes... Wish you were here...

Heh, my lack of talent made its best today

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but boy if I did
I sure wouldn't spend it on windows!

A song about what Vista has done to m$ ;)

Goodbye Micro$oft,
Though I never, knew you at all
You had the grace to withdraw yourself,
While those around you improved.
They crawled out of the programmers,
And they whispered, into your brain
They said you are the devil,
And they made you change your name

And it seems to me you ran your corp.
Like a virus in XP,
Never knowing, who to cling to,
When AV set in,
And I would have liked to have ended you
But I was just a kid,
Your OS burned out long before,
Your money ever did...
