Pardon my ignorance but... It's a freakin' terminal. It's used for wrinting bash commands, right? What's the difference between all these? I've only tried Gnome-terminal and Konsole (if that's the default KDE one :)) and I don't really see a difference, but I'm a newbie, so I may miss something important. Enlighten me, please :)

I like using Tilde. I also use gnome-terminal and xterm. Another one I like to use is the TTY session CTRL-ALT-F(1:6).

Some have more features, like customizing colors and such. It can be useful if you want a different color scheme for different tasks (like if you want to use lynx or something). I don't care what I use, as long as it works.

I have never hear of Tilda. I would have put in others, but could only say ten.
